A month in Malaysia

I did decide to make a month long stop in Malaysia before i head to New Zealand. And it was one of the beste Decisions
i ever made. I won't be able to cover the whole month, but i will write about my arrival, a few experiences and impressions.

The bus journey from Munich to Berlin was quite interesting, cause i had a lot on my mind. It was the first time i left my home with just a Backpack and the goal of staying in a Country i have never been to for a whole year. And furthermore i did not yet know if this cheap airline will allow me to bring my fishing rods along or if i have to leave them in Germany.
To my surprise it was no problem at all to bring my Rods as oversized luggage and there were no additional charges.

Two days after my arrival in Malaysia i left Kuala Lumpur on foot and went up north. To summarize my experiences:
1. The malaysian people are really friendly and helpful, they stopped many times and gave me a ride or gave me some water, fruits or food in general.
2. The nature and wildlife of Malaysia is, in simple terms, amazing and breathtaking.
3. Fishing in malaysia is possible but most of the freshwater is quite poluted and in certain areas there are saltwater crocodiles (on Langkawi for example)
4. The country is Cheap and the food is mindblowing. You will have a combination of vietnamese, thai, chinese, indien and malaysian cousine.
5. I used public transportation to get back down south and cover some distances in between and it was really easy to use and cheap.

There will be an extra Article covering my fishing experiences in Malaysia and other countries, but for now this will be all.
